Intitulé simplement *Star Fox*, le jeu est un remake complet de *Lylat Wars* — connu outre-Atlantique sous le nom de *Star Fox 64* — et il débarque le 25 juin 2026.**\n\nLe Direct lui-même a été annoncé dix minutes seulement avant sa diffusion via un message de Shigeru Miyamoto, ce qui en fait l'une des communications les plus inattendues de Nintendo depuis un bon moment. La franchise était en sommeil depuis *Star Fox Zero* sur Wii U en 2016, soit dix ans d'absence.\n\n### Un remake fidèle, mais enrichi\n\nLes niveaux conservent la structure du jeu d'origine sur Nintendo 64, mais bénéficient d'un traitement graphique entièrement revu, avec des dialogues retravaillés et des designs de personnages plus \"animaliers\" qu'auparavant. De nombreuses cinématiques ont été ajoutées, dont des scènes de briefing inédites entre chaque mission, permettant d'explorer davantage le lore de l'univers. Nintendo a également diffusé à la fin du Direct un prologue mettant en scène James McCloud, le père de Fox — entièrement doublé en français. La compatibilité avec la manette Nintendo 64 rééditée pour les abonnés Switch Online est également confirmée, tout comme un mode multijoueur compétitif et de nouveaux défis en jeu.\n\n### Un lancement dans un mois\n\n*Star Fox* sera disponible le 25 juin 2026 en exclusivité sur Nintendo Switch 2, à priori au prix de 49,99 € en version dématérialisée. Simply titled *Star Fox*, the game is a full remake of *Lylat Wars* — known overseas as *Star Fox 64* — and launches on June 25, 2026.**\n\nThe Direct itself was announced only ten minutes before airing through a message from Shigeru Miyamoto, making it one of Nintendo’s most unexpected communications in quite some time. The franchise had been dormant since *Star Fox Zero* on Wii U in 2016, marking a ten-year absence.\n\n### A faithful remake, but expanded\n\nThe levels retain the structure of the original Nintendo 64 game, but feature completely overhauled visuals, reworked dialogue, and character designs that lean even further into their animal-inspired appearance. Numerous cinematics have been added, including brand-new briefing scenes between missions that expand the universe’s lore. Nintendo also ended the Direct with a prologue featuring James McCloud, Fox’s father — fully dubbed in French.
