While 10.0.8 focused on optimizing graphics memory—making the 2 GB Raspberry Pi 5 just as capable as the 4 GB model—that's not all it brings. Arcade and fighting game fans, in particular, are in for a treat. The Fightstick R10 Pro (as well as the R9) is now officially supported by Recalbox, with automatic configuration based on the game you're playing.
The Fightstick R10 Pro, along with the R9 and its built-in spinner and trackball, joins the list of controllers officially supported by Recalbox. This support is aimed primarily at fans of fighting games and classic arcade titles, where a dedicated arcade stick makes all the difference in terms of precision and authentic gameplay.
No button mapping to tweak, no profiles to load manually: Recalbox automatically detects the stick and adjusts its configuration to match the game you're launching. It's exactly the plug-and-play experience we want to provide, letting you jump straight into the action without unnecessary setup.
This feature is included in the latest version of Recalbox (10.0.8). If you own a Fightstick R10 Pro or R9, simply plug it in and start playing—no additional configuration required.
If you've already read the 10.0.8 release notes, none of this will come as a surprise. Still, here's a reminder of some of the other notable improvements included in this update:
