New Recalbox.com website: a cleaner, more modern redesign

The official Recalbox website has had a makeover. We have rethought the entire experience to make it cleaner, more modern and more comfortable to browse, whether you are discovering Recalbox or have known it for a long time. Here is a complete tour of what awaits you.

A homepage that brings together the essentials

The new homepage goes straight to the point. It starts with a quick introduction to what Recalbox is, then moves on to Online mode, the hardware offered by Recalbox and the first steps to get started. It ends with the four latest blog articles, so you never miss any news, and a section dedicated to Patreon.

The Recalbox tab: everything about the project

This tab brings together several submenus: a "What is Recalbox?" page, the list of features, the supported systems and games, and the download page.

The Online tab: the new mode, live

This is one of the major new features of the site. The Online tab lets you discover Recalbox's new online mode and follow what is happening in real time: ongoing rooms, ongoing matches, tournaments, and the current challenge with its live leaderboard and missions.

The Hardware tab: discover the whole Recalbox range

This tab lets you discover the RGB JAMMA 2, the Recalbox JVS, the RGB Dual 2 and the Card Reader through dedicated, detailed pages covering all the features of Recalbox hardware. Photos, videos, feature presentations and shortcuts to the hardware wiki pages are available.

The Learn tab: getting started with Recalbox

Designed for beginners and curious users alike, this tab gathers everything you need to build your Recalbox: a step-by-step guide tailored to the hardware you own or the experience you want, video tutorials to get started, the official documentation and the FAQ.

The blog: news from the project and its ecosystem

The blog remains the place to follow the news of Recalbox and everything that revolves around the project.

Browsing comfort

The site offers a simple switch between light and dark mode, so you can browse in the best conditions whatever your environment. All pages are available in French and English.

A page to track your profile

For Patrons, the site now offers a dedicated profile page. It brings together your match history, statistics, badges, avatar customization and friend management. As Recalbox 11 is currently available only to Patrons, this page is reserved for them for now. It will be accessible to everyone with the public release of Recalbox 11.

Your turn to play

The new site has been online for a week. We invite you to browse it, and to tell us what you think on the community Discord.
