A special week on Twitch: Zelda and Recalbox Online Night #2

This week, join us on the Recalbox Twitch channel for two special evenings, Thursday and Friday at 9 p.m.! We’ll explore The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time together, then come back the next evening for an online retro gaming night!

Thursday, November 5 at 9 p.m.: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

A landmark in gaming is making its arrival! Released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the first 3D Zelda game and laid the foundations for a whole generation of adventure games: Z-targeting in combat, the camera system, 3D dungeons, the ocarina and its melodies, and Link’s journey from childhood to adulthood. Regularly named among the greatest games of all time, it left its mark on millions of players—from Hyrule Field to the Temple of Time, not forgetting Navi, Epona, and Koji Kondo’s unforgettable music.

To celebrate, Fab2Ris will launch the game live and discover it alongside you, the viewers. Know the game by heart? Come share your memories and reactions in the chat. Never played it? You can discover it at the same time as he does. Either way, it’s a chance for us all to share a legendary moment with this remake.

Friday, November 6 at 9 p.m.: RBO Night #2

The following evening, get ready for a big night: the second RBO Night, live on Twitch this time! The first edition took place on our Discord, where Recalbox Patrons joined us for an evening of matches, co-op, tournaments—in short, a great old-school gaming night. So many Patrons showed up for the first edition that we’re doing it again.

Fab2Ris and digitalLumberjack will be live on the Recalbox Twitch channel for a laid-back, friendly evening: a full-scale test of Recalbox Online, tournaments, co-op and versus matches, and maybe even a few surprises…

As for playing, participation is reserved for Patrons. Recalbox Online is currently available in version 11, which is exclusive to them as a thank-you for their support, before it becomes available to everyone. But the livestream itself is a regular Twitch event, open to all: you can follow the action, bring the chat to life with us, and admire the players’ skills (or their defeats)!

How can you watch the events?

It couldn’t be simpler: join us on the Recalbox Twitch channel on Thursday, November 5 and Friday, November 6 at 9 p.m. Just like in the days of LAN parties, the idea is to get together, watch our friends play, pass the controller around, tackle dungeons and matches, and enjoy a great evening together.
