Cups

From 2 to 64 players, single elimination.

A patron opens a cup from their Recalbox, and you enter from yours. Opponents are drawn at random when entries close; depending on the cup, a match is one game, or best of three or five. No need to watch the clock: your Recalbox offers you the match as soon as you and your opponent are both online. Keep your opponent waiting past the cup's absence limit (15 minutes by default) and the match is lost. Matches can be filmed and streamed live.
